Cartridge packaging machine

It packs cartridges with two different types of packaging. It can fill cartons or pack cartridges. It can automatically pack the desired type according to the order sent from the cartridge production machine via OPC Unified Architecture. There are two processes: Carton process and package process. The carton process starts with a flat/unfolded carton. The machine can detect incorrect stacking, turned cartridges, etc. Depending on the situation, it can automatically empty faulty or unnecessary cartridges. The process ends with a filled and taped carton ready for further processing. The pack process packs the cartridges with 64 pieces. It also detects incorrectly stacked or turned cartridges, etc. At the end of this process, the machine has produced 64 perfectly shaped cartridges, which are then bundled by the bundling machine. To make an optimal and customer-friendly Human Machine Interface (HMI), we made a flexible design, visualization of the machine, 3D designs and some animations of the motion components.
